Catering Equipment Supply

Howell Cummings supply one off purchases to full kitchen installation.  These can be bought as supply only or we can install, as requested.  All our equipment is fully tested and commissioned.

Kitchen & Equipment Installation Services

Howell Cummings utilise Local Installation Teams who arrange and install the kitchen equipment as per the final drawing.

It is the Project Manager's responsibility to liaise with the customer to ensure the kitchen is installed and operational in the time frame set by our customer.

Kitchen Planning & Design Services

We pride ourselves on offering any client the complete catering design service delivered within budget and on time in all areas of commercial catering facilities, from restaurant kitchens to Central Production Units (CPUs;) Garden Centres to Multi complex Sports Stadia.

We are happy to work from either your architect's drawings or from our own survey of your site. Either way, the final result is a commercial kitchen design that will provide the ultimate solution both now and for years ahead.

By considering your staff, possible menu changes and increased capacities as well as your budget, we ensure that our final kitchen design will accommodate all your current and future requirements.
To add a special touch to our commercial kitchen designs, we create and present them to you not only as 2D plan views, but also as a selection of 3D elevations, allowing you and your chef to 'virtually' walk through your new kitchen before deciding to proceed.

Subsequently, following your approval of our kitchen designs, the drawings take on a whole new purpose. Details of every gas, water, waste and electrical point is shown to scale in the required positions, with connection sizes and specifications, enabling the 'working' drawing to form the main communication tool between all trades and specialists involved in your commercial kitchen design project.

Project Management

Every contract that has been placed with us will have a dedicated Project Manager, who will take overall responsibility of the project from its onset to hand over. 

This responsibility includes:

• Project Co-ordination, with relation to liaising with the trade and resolving any drawing issues.  
• Management, advice and support on the latest Health and Safety Regulations.   
• We have our own approved internal Health and Safety and Quality Policies to ensure that any installations meet all related certification and legislation. 
• Management of Installation and Commissioning using any one of our NICEIC and Gas Safe approved engineers.  
• Technical advice for all service-related issues. 
• Programme Protection, including critical path management.
